Preview terms

These terms cover the invited preview of the Kcalbase API. They are deliberately short and will be replaced by full terms, reviewed by a solicitor, before self-serve billing opens. We will email every key holder before that happens.

  1. What you get. Read-only access to the Kcalbase API with a personal key, on the free tier unless agreed in writing, for use inside your own application.
  2. What you must do. Show the attribution text the API returns wherever open-layer values are displayed. Keep your key private. Honour rate and quota responses.
  3. What you must not do. Redistribute substantial extracts of the data as a dataset or a competing API, share keys, or bypass limits with multiple keys. The open layer is separately available under ODbL for anyone who wants the raw data.
  4. Service. This is a preview: routes and limits may change with notice on the changelog; uptime is best effort; no fee is charged and no warranty is given.
  5. Data and privacy. We log request paths, key labels, timings and errors. We do not receive your users' identities and ask you not to send them.
  6. Ending. Either side can end access at any time; we will give a week's notice unless a key is being abused.
